The research conducted at the Structural Engineering section aims to deliver new construction materials and technologies. Our research activities range from discipline-focused to interdisciplinary collaborations involving experts from other fields of science and engineering. Our research approach relies on computer simulations, experimental testing and monitoring and data analysis. Sustainability aspects as well as how to harness structures with information and communication technologies are both playing a central role in our research agenda.
