Profile

Dr. Aliakbar Kamari is an architect, engineer, scientist, and educator. He is an Associate Professor (tenured) of Building Science at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University, Denmark. Aliakbar's research investigates multifaceted research approaches to enable or accelerate twins of Green and Digital transformation within the building sector.
 
Aliakbar holds two Ph.D. diplomas in Architecture and Engineering from Aarhus Universit (DK) and the University of Palermo (IT). Prior to joining Aarhus University, Aliakbar taught at Tehran Institute of Technology since 2013 and later at the University of Palermo since 2015. Currently, he is the course responsible for the master's level course "Design-integrated Life-cycle Assessment" and the bachelor's level course "Integrated Building Design" at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University.
