The Building Science section conducts research that leads to the development of new technologies and approaches for sustainable design, operation, and maintenance of buildings and cities. Our research activities range from discipline-focused to interdisciplinary collaborations involving experts from other engineering fields as well as health and social sciences.
Our research approach includes computer simulations, laboratory, and field experiments, and we are experts in applying both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
