I do research on use of various feed additives or feedstuffs to improve gut health of weaned pigs; and on effects of various feed additives or feed processing technologies on nutrient utilization by the pigs and poultry with the goal of improving efficiency of producing pork and poultry products and minimizing negative effects of pig and poultry production on environment. I also estimate nutrient requirements of pigs and poultry and characterizes nutritive value of their feedstuffs with the goal of matching dietary nutrient supply with requirements of these animals
