Furniture and interior elements suffused with interactive capacities show promise in supporting relations and communication between healthcare professionals, patients and relatives. The work has been reported on in a CHI 2018 paper. Building on the master thesis work of Jacob Schnedler and Josephine Raun Thomsen we are working to implement the table as part of a product family for patient empowerment in an everyday hospital wide setting.
