My main area of research is developing, implementing, testing and applying constitutive models for soils supported by high-quality laboratory results. These models have been applied to simulations of open cast mines, tailing dams, wind turbines.
I am also interested in the experimental and numerical description of Block-in-matrix soils (bimsoils) using methods like DEM, FEM, FELA.
